Skinny jeans scared me for a very long time.  I am curvy, have big thighs, and am anything but skinny.

I have found the PERFECT pair of skinny jeans for my body and I am in love with them.

They are from Ann Taylor LOFT and they are the Curvy Skinny style!  I swear these were made for people like me.....with a fear of skinny jeans.

I first got a pair of jewel toned green ones last Christmas. They rock.  Apparently I am not the only one that thinks so because I could never find my size in the regular denim style until a few weeks ago.  

Now I DO NOT want to take them off!

Vegas Baby!

We spent a few days in Vegas and Zachary really enjoyed it this time!  We visited the pool, the Secret Garden at Mirage, Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Tournament of Kings at Excalibur, and lots of yummy restaurants!  

The whole time we were there he kept asking, "Is this Las Vegas?"  He wasn't sure about what Las Vegas really was and we had to explain that it was ALL Las Vegas!

As we were leaving Zachary said, "Is Las Vegas over?"

We can't wait to go back!

Good Job!

Tonight we are in Las Vegas and Joey, Zachary, and I attended the Tournament of Kings show at Excalibur.  Zachary loved every second!

As I put him into his bed in our hotel room just now he said, "Good job watching the show with me Mom!"

I just can't get enough of him!

Renewing?!

When Disneyland raised their annual passport prices late last year, we let our expire in December. We really had to think about renewing.

Well, we renewed earlier this month, and I am sure glad we did.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

This post is long over due!  We took our yearly visit to the Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch before Halloween.  We got there right when it opened and it was great!

Since Ian was 6 months old during this visit, I was really looking forward to the cute first year shots of him propped up surrounded by pumpkins!  Ian was totally adorable and photogenic and Zachary was in a better mood this year!

Ian Month Five (September 2012)

I am WAY late posting this!  I've had the pictures taken, but just didn't get around to posting them here!

This month, Ian started eating rice cereal, oatmeal, banana, and avocado!  He is a great eater!!

He isn't crawling yet, but he is definitely finding ways to move!  He doesn't stay in the same spot too long!

He loves people and smiles at everyone!  We often hear from others about what a happy boy he is!

We had fun this month joining in on the photo shoot!

Happy Five Months sweet boy!

Ian: Month Four (August 2012)

This post is light on pictures because we just didn't take many this month!  (Bad Mommy!)  But, we have had another great month with our sweet, sweet Ian!

He started rolling at 3 1/2 months and we just can't stop him!  He smiles and giggles quite often and even blows bubbles with his lips!  

He has the most gorgeous blue eyes and we REALLY hope they stay that way! 

He still wakes up once at night to eat.  Joey and I have both gone back to work, so sometimes we are VERY tired!

We just love him to pieces and our family just feels so complete now!

We can't stop him from rolling all over the place!

Road Trip

At the end of July we decided to take a quick road trip up north to Arroyo Grande (just south of San Luis Obispo) to visit Joey's cousin Jason and his awesome family Lisa, Ryan, Amanda, Amber, and Ashtyn.  It was a chance to catch up with them since we don't see them often and also a chance for them to see the boys.

We had a great trip!  We enjoyed ice cream in downtown Arroyo Grande at Doc Bernstein's, Sea Otter sightings at Morro Bay, a yummy BBQ dinner at Mo's and GIANT cinnamon rolls in Pismo Beach, the swinging bridge, elephant seals, the trampoline, the Like Tikes roller coaster, Just Dance 3, and hanging out with the Hall Family.
