Tracy's Favorite Things- Mommy Edition

Zachary finally started getting his two bottom teeth right around Christmas. About a week later, Joey noticed a few small teeth marks on the crib! We have a beautiful crib, with a front rail that does not fit the usual crib rail protectors. We also didn't want to use the "gummy" one that sticks to the wood.

Of course I checked out Amazon.com and their Amazon Baby section and I found these awesome crib wraps by Trend Lab!

Fa

They are made of fleece and you tie them onto the crib. They don't damage the wood and are very easy to take on and off! The best part is that they can be washed!! They come in a ton of colors too!

We ordered both the long one for the front, and the set of two short ones for the sides. They have been on for a few weeks now and they are working out wonderfully!!

Here is what they look like on our crib:

Notice that the crib is SUPER bare!
At about 9 months he started standing on his bumper, so we had to take it out! There is nothing left now!

10 Months Old!

Zachary is 11 months old TODAY and I am just now getting around to posting about 10 months!  I've been terrible about blogging!  I still have Zachary's First Christmas to blog about too!  I will get it done.....eventually!  I'm also working on planning his 1st Birthday party!  (It's going to be a Western theme)

-Zachary has gotten 2 teeth, and is working on the 3rd.....Finally!  (We started to see the start of a tooth on Christmas Eve!)
-He is WALKING! He started walking during the middle of January.  He is so proud of himself and is getting more comfortable, and less tipsy, each day.
-He loves music and "dances" almost whenever he hears it.  He bounces right to the beat!  He has rhythm .....I'm not gonna lie.
-He used to sleep through the night, but ever since those teeth starting coming in, he now wakes up at least once in the middle of the night.  :(
-He likes to say "Da Da" even when I try to get him to say "Ma Ma."  He hasn't said "Ma Ma" yet.....but you know I am working on that one!
-Overall he is such a happy boy!  He loves to be around people and has not shown any separation anxiety at all!

Sometimes I ask Joey, "Can you believe he is OUR kid?"  He's cute, amazing, and wonderful!  We love him so much!

I have so many pictures from this past month with Christmas and Disneyland trips, I plan on doing separate posts about those, but I had to include his 10 month sticker picture shots!

He's not really into sitting down for these pictures anymore!

I just love that face!

My little man!

Happy little guy!

He's on the move!!

Christmas (Part 1) - The Christmas Train and Santa!

We started a Christmas tradition that I know will continue year after year.  We took Zachary on the Christmas Train at Irvine Park to see Santa.  It was awesome!  It was the week that it rained and rained and one night the rain stopped about 5:00pm and we decided to go.  It was chilly and muddy, but it was also magical.

We took a train ride through lit trees and stopped at the "North Pole" to see Santa.  It wasn't crowded at all.  The people working there didn't rush people at all.  You could buy the picture they took for $10 if you wanted, but they also let you take pictures with your own camera!  Many malls don't let you do that anymore!

Zachary loved Santa this year!  I hope that continues next year!

It was a fun night and we can't wait until next year!

 He checked him out first..........

And was happy to sit on his lap!
He even held his hand!
