Showering Baby Olive and her Mommy Heather

Last Saturday I attended my dear friend Heather's Baby Shower. She and her husband Brian are expecting their little girl Olive in early August. I am so excited for them both! I have known Heather since I was 3 years old! We grew up going to dance classes together and we were bridesmaids in each other's weddings!

It was great to see her and a few other Disney friends! Here I am with Trisha (who is 3 months pregnant) and Heather!

For Heather's gift, I put together a little tote of goodies that I just can't live without now that I am a Mommy!

Now and Then

Zachary isn't a huge fan of his full size swing.....he actually prefers his smaller swing/vibrating chair combo thingy. Yesterday I decided to put him in his big swing and he looks so big in it now! Here is a picture of Zachary in the swing taken yesterday (He will be 16 weeks old tomorrow!) and one taken of him when he was about 2 weeks old!

Tracy's Favorite Things - Mommy Edition

Today as I was changing Zachary's diaper I realized how much I LOVE my Sarah Bear Diaper Caddie! It looks super cute sitting on his dresser/changing table and it really does keep everything organized and all in one place!


I love how the wipes case fits perfectly into the center! (My wipes case is a Pampers case that I refill with Costco wipes) There is a handle so that you can carry it from room to room, but I am lucky enough to live in a one-story house so my caddie never leaves it's place!


I have the Jackson design, but it also comes in a few other colors. If you do want to buy one....Target has them $5 cheaper than Babies R Us!!

I absolutely love this picture! I can't stop staring at it!

It makes me so happy because there is SO much joy in Zachary's smiling expression, but it also makes me sad because he doesn't look like that tiny little newborn we brought home from the hospital anymore!

Hello Unemployment!

Open House 2010

Last Friday I worked my last day at Commonwealth School. It was a crazy year as my co-worker Tiffany and I built an Intervention program from scratch. We saw AMAZING growth and success and it was not only a rewarding expereince, but I learned a lot. I really believe that I became a better teacher this year!

Sadly, Tiffany and I are both Temporary teachers in our school district and we have both been released from our jobs. It has absolutely nothing to do with our performance, but instead all that matters right now is our hire date. It doesn't look good for next year, so who knows what the next school year will bring!

Of course I have already filed for unemployment and I am going to enjoy my summer break with Joey and Zachary.

Alpha Chi Omega Mommies!

Yesterday my sorority sister Megan hosted a nice afternoon gathering of Alpha Chi Omega mommies. We all joined AXO at CSUF within a few years of each other and now we all have kids! There were 11 Moms and 12 kids (thanks to one set of twins)!

It was so great to see all of these ladies and meet all of their kids! Zachary and I had a wonderful time and we can't wait for the next one!

3 months old!

As of yesterday, Zachary is now 3 months old! He is such a great baby! Joey and I really do appreciate how lucky we are.

He is growing like crazy, "talking" to us, smiling at everyone he meets, sticking out his tongue, and laughing so much! He loves tummy time and also loves to lay on his back and kick and grab all of the animals on his farm yard play mat. He is SUPER close to rolling over! He sleeps through the night and has been for a few weeks now! Yay!!!

This month we moved Zachary from his bassinet in our bedroom to his crib in his own room. I was so sad about this, but he didn't know the difference!

I have returned back to my part time teaching job. While I work, he has been hanging out with his Aunt Tammie and Cousin Sam, Nana Bintliff, and Nana Edmisten. It was tough to leave him, but he is in such good hands with people that adore him!

Here are some highlights from Zachary's 3rd month:
