Ian: Month One (May 2012)

Of course I am WAY behind on blogging!  I am still adjusting to life with my two boys and just haven't found the time to write an update.  I'll let the pictures do the talking!

Happy 1st Month Ian!
We love you so much!

Ian had a bit of a health scare right around 4 weeks and ended up at Children's Hospital Orange County (CHOC) for 3 days!

He came down with a fever of 101.3 one night and I rushed him to the ER.  Because he was so young, they did a ton of tests and it ended up just being a viral infection that needed to run its course, but it was a very scary few days.  He also had a form of jaundice called Breast milk jaundice.  You can see from the last two pictures that his skin tone completely changed once he got healthy!)

He was poked so many times for all the tests they were running (including a spinal!) and he barely cried!

The staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and CHOC were fantastic!  CHOC really did a great job of making me comfortable too.  (Lots of snacks and even one free meal a day because I was a nursing mom!)

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful, healthy little boy!
