Zachary's language has been taking off lately, so of course that means he is saying some really funny things!
I'm going to start documenting them here so I won't forget them. I know we will look back and laugh one day!
Earlier this week we were in the car and I was showing Joey something on my phone. Zachary wanted to see what was on my phone, but was in the back seat. He said, "Catch it to me Mommy!"
This morning Zachary was getting a little rowdy. (Not bad enough to be put in a time out, but he definitely needed to take a break to cool off.) We have been telling him to take a break in his room, and he has been really good about going in and calming down. I told him, "Go take a little break in your room." Zachary says, "I go take a big break." That was totally fine by us! :)

Swim Lessons!
In July we signed Zachary up for a week of Parent and Me swim lessons through the City of Orange. It was mostly just a "get used to the water" type class, but it was still a lot of fun!
He loved the water and kept asking anyone who came to watch, "Watch me!"
(Thanks to Joey, Papa Edmisten, Nana Bintliff, Nicolette, and Kyle for coming out to watch)
Throwing the toys in and jumping in was his favorite part!
He also really loved swimming towards the toys!
The last day was jump/drop off the diving board!
He is such a daredevil, we were sure he would jump!
He made it to the end, but was dropped/passed off to his teacher!
Oh well!
I had a great time with him......even though the pool was freezing!

Everyone loves a parade!
I'm catching up on all of the fun we had during the month of July!
On 4th of July, we started our morning by watching/participating in the Orange Park Acres 4th of July Parade. It's been a tradition in the neighborhood that Joey grew up in, and it's always a good time. There is a real sense of community when you see the Firefighters, Boy Scouts, 4-H, and friends and neighbors rolling down the street. Anyone can join in, and this year Joey and his brother Brian decided to, along with Zachary and Sam!
Decorating their bikes like they did when they were kids!
Nana Edmisten took ours for a test drive!
My Dad totally photo bombed us!
Nana and Pop-Pop Bintliff came to watch this year!
They were the last people in the parade!
What a finale! :)
Zachary lasted the whole time!
Happy 4th!

Ian: Month Three (July 2012)
We have had an extremely busy month...which might explain the lack of blog posts I have written lately!
Ian is the most amazingly sweet baby boy! Many people have told us that he is one of the happiest babies they have ever met! He doesn't fuss much at all, and he LOVES to smile at people! He's just charming!
He is still sleeping well at night, except for the past few nights where he wants to eat during the three o'clock hour! (I'm hoping it's just a growth spurt!) We moved him from his bassinet in our room into his crib in his room this month and he adjusted perfectly! He is long (his height was in the 70th percentile at his two month appointment) so he was starting to look squished in the bassinet.
He is SO close to rolling over! He wants to roll so bad, from back to tummy, but he can't quite figure out how to tuck his arm under yet!
We still are amazed at how well this little man has fit right in!
Check out all of the fun we had this month!
We traveled to Vegas with Joey's family to celebrate his dad's birthday!
Ian's First 4th of July!
He was happy......of course!
We visited The Licona Family!
We drove up north to Arroyo Grande to visit The Hall Family! (Joey's cousin)
Amber was our little Flower Girl 4 years ago!
Hanging out with Cousin Jason!
Amanda was our other Flower Girl!!
Checking out the Sea Otters in Morro Bay!
They were so close and SO cute!
It's the best we could do.......
I LOVE this face!
Those eyes......
Happy Three Months to you Ian!
You are fantastic!
